How else to spend a Friday than in the rain watching Liga 2 action?
There’s is something refreshing watching two presumably not very well-paid (if paid at all) teams play out a match at 11am in the rain on a Friday morning. No glamour, no riches, and admittedly, limited skill, but somehow enjoyable.

The Big Match
I’ve only seen Rapid Bucharest play twice. The first time they beat Steaua 5-1, tonight they won 8-0. If you like Rapid, feel free to pay me to attend every games, I’m clearly a good luck charm.
Survivor
A couple of weeks ago a fire broke out in this area in Vacaresti Nature Park (thankfully not the whole park). Luckily nature is already fighting back, as seen by the green shoots appearing among the burnt land. This tree, with its deep black burned trunk and branches, stands there still, seemingly having survived.

Had been learning about Macbeth with my students recently, with students making their own ‘spell’ based on the speech of the three witches at the beginning of the play, only to find this when walking in the park. Suspicious coincidence, what do the fates foretell?
